    How it works

One request. Up to five competing quotes. No fees.

All Bus Charter is not a bus company. We are the marketplace that makes vetted bus companies compete for your trip — so you see the real market rate instead of one company's opening number.

    The walkthrough

    From request to booked coach

Five stages, most of them finished inside a single afternoon.

    1. Minute 0

      1. You submit one request

Three short steps: the trip basics, the vehicle and amenities you want, then how to reach you. It takes about 90 seconds and there is nothing to pay at any point.

    2. Minute 1

      2. We match your trip to the right operators

Your route, dates, group size and vehicle class are matched against operators with suitable equipment near your pickup point — and against who actually has that vehicle free on your date.

    3. Within the hour

      3. Up to five operators contact you directly

Each quote comes from the company that would actually run your trip, not a call center. Most planners hear from the first operator inside an hour during business hours.

    4. Same day

      4. You compare like with like

Check the vehicle year, whether tolls and gratuity are included, the minimum billable hours and the cancellation terms. Our questions checklist makes the comparison quick.

    5. When you are ready

      5. You book direct with your pick

You sign and pay the operator at their quoted price. All Bus Charter never touches the transaction and never adds a booking fee or markup.

    After you submit

What to expect once your request is in

You will get a confirmation email immediately with a copy of your trip details. After that the phone and inbox do the work — operators reply to you directly, so there is no back-and-forth through us.

    1. 1

      Your request goes out immediately

We match your route, dates and group size to operators with the right vehicles near your pickup point.

    2. 2

Up to 5 operators reply directly

Most people hear from the first within an hour on weekdays. Each quote comes from the company that will actually run your trip.

    3. 3

      You compare and ask questions

Check the vehicle year, what's included, and the cancellation terms. Our guides walk you through exactly what to ask.

    4. 4

      Book directly with your pick

You pay the operator at their quoted price. All Bus Charter never adds a booking fee or markup.

A note on how we get paid

Operators pay us for qualified leads. Trip planners pay nothing — not a listing fee, not a booking fee, not a percentage of your charter. That means our incentive is to send operators requests they can actually win, and to send you operators who can actually run your trip.

    • No fee to request or compare quotes
    • No markup added to the operator's price
    • You contract and pay the operator directly
    • Your details are never sold to third parties

    Operator vetting

How an operator earns a place in the network

Screening is a floor, not a substitute for your own five minutes on the FMCSA SAFER site — but no carrier receives a single lead without clearing it.

    • Active USDOT operating authority

We confirm the carrier holds current interstate passenger authority in the FMCSA register and that its operating status is ACTIVE — not inactive, and not out of service.

    • Satisfactory safety rating

Rated carriers must hold a Satisfactory FMCSA rating. Unrated carriers are assessed on roadside inspection history and out-of-service percentages against national averages.

    • Current commercial insurance

Minimum $5 million combined single limit for vehicles seating 16 or more, $1.5 million below that, verified as an active policy on file rather than a certificate alone.

    • Ongoing re-verification

Authority and insurance are re-checked on a rolling basis. Carriers that lapse are suspended from receiving leads until they are compliant again.

    Reading a quote

What is — and is not — inside the price

Two quotes 15% apart often are not quoting the same thing. These are the six lines that explain most of the gap.

    • Professional CDL driver

With a passenger (P) endorsement, in a DOT drug-and-alcohol testing program.

    • Fuel

Built into the base rate. Ask whether the quote is fuel-locked on bookings made far ahead.

    • Standard mileage

Local mileage is included; beyond roughly 100 miles a per-mile rate applies.

    • Tolls

Usually passed through at cost and itemised. Confirm whether they are in the headline number.

    • Driver lodging

On overnight trips only: $150–$250 per night, or a flat per-diem.

    • Gratuity guidance

10–20% of the base fare, or $50–$100 per driver per day. Check it is not already included.

Mileage or hourly — which applies?

Local trips are billed hourly against a three-to-five hour minimum. Once you pass roughly 100 miles most operators calculate the trip both ways and charge the higher of the two, so a long day with few miles still hits the hourly floor, and a fast 400-mile run is priced on distance. Ask which basis your quote uses — it is the fastest way to understand a price gap between two bids.
