    About the mini bus

A mini bus splits the difference between a van and a motorcoach. With 25 to 35 seats on a shorter wheelbase, it manages tight downtown streets, hotel porte-cochères and venue driveways that a 45-foot coach simply cannot enter.

Interiors vary more than any other category. Entry-level mini buses have vinyl bench seating and are priced accordingly; premium versions offer reclining cloth or leather seats, overhead parcel racks and rear luggage space. Ask your operator for photos of the exact vehicle assigned to your trip.

Mini buses are the most common vehicle for continuous shuttle loops, because the lower hourly rate makes a repeating four-hour circuit far more affordable than the same loop on a full coach.

    Mini Bus questions, answered

Almost never. Mini buses are built for trips under about two hours between stops, so plan a rest break into any longer route.

Usually yes — most mini buses clear 10 to 11 feet. Send your operator the address and they will confirm clearance and turning radius in advance.

For 25 or more people, yes. One mini bus needs one driver; two vans need two, and driver hours are the single largest line item in any charter.

Rear luggage compartments hold roughly 15–25 bags. For a full 30-passenger group each bringing a checked bag, request a coach or add a luggage trailer.
